Ruffing it with the Pod

Hi everyone, welcome to our new blog. Two days ago I invested in a new page in life for myself and my canine girls. We have simply been way to house bound since Skye joined us due to her super energy and no volume control (she was born deaf).

So say hello to our new R-Pod 172, presently just being called the Pod. I will be taking suggestions on a nick name for our new digs until one clicks for us. OMG!! It may have just come to me, the Ruff Pawed??

The Pawed will be coming home in a couple of weeks, after I get some lessons on how to park a trailer lol.  Meanwhile, a lot of time is being spent on line looking for ideas to make the most of our little space and how to make it comfortably dog safe.  For example, it has bunk beds and I'm planning on converting the bottom bunk into a kennel, keeping in mind that it has to easily transform because of the storage space underneath it.

The pawed should be a great fit with it's off road ability, outdoor shower, A/C, furnace, and even a screened in enclosure that doubles its' size.

Looking forward to sharing our future adventures with you all with hopes that it helps you share similar experiences with your canine friends.

Later all,

"I attended the March 06, 2021 K9ABCs first aid course run by Laurie. Excellent presentation of the material - Laurie is an amazing teacher combining the book material with personal experience both as a paramedic and as a dog lover. What stood out for me was the dog 'Annie': a rubber dog to practice all the handling skills needed for an emergency - CPR, assisted breathing, pulse check. Class was run in a highly professional manner with love an care for animals exuding at all times. All of it with COVID restrictions in place and well observed. Thank you Laurie, I'll be back for refreshers when time comes." Violeta Toma, 2021

"I took this course and it was so amazing! I highly recommend to anyone who has a dog!" Wagging Tails and Happy Trails, Dec. 8, 2019
