Prepping for a Road Trip

Hey y'all, prepping for a road trip south we are. Quincy and I are planning on hiking/camping in the Columbia Gorge soon. I always try to leave a note in the window of the truck when I have to make a quick pit stop and Quincy is left in the air conditioned truck. Meant to assure concerned public that I've taken precautions for her safety. I'm just going to make and laminate one for this trip and would like your feedback. My goal is to give enough info without giving to much info, for our future safety. What do you think of the content. I believe I still need to play with layout.

Quincy's first hike with stifle device

Well, after some practice in local parks with roots, rocks and logs this morning we tackled Lindeman out by Chilliwack Lake. Quincy seemed very happy to be out with nature again. A little more than half way up I forced her to lay down and rest as she was getting sloppy with her footing but then she was back on track. A good swim, for both of us at the Lake with some chill time without the brace and we were ready to head back down.

Again we rested when she showed signs of fatigue but the hike was a definite success. :)

Hmm where to next?

    15 year old Nova Scotia Duck Toller (mx??) rescued by the SPCA and adopted by my human, Laurie. Now I'm the pretty face on this webpage that's meant to help you humans better keep us canines safe. (like we need help with that, whatever).

"I attended the March 06, 2021 K9ABCs first aid course run by Laurie. Excellent presentation of the material - Laurie is an amazing teacher combining the book material with personal experience both as a paramedic and as a dog lover. What stood out for me was the dog 'Annie': a rubber dog to practice all the handling skills needed for an emergency - CPR, assisted breathing, pulse check. Class was run in a highly professional manner with love an care for animals exuding at all times. All of it with COVID restrictions in place and well observed.
