Now, there are all different ideas and opinions of what one should do with their dog in such a situation with many factor's involved with the decision. I.e. age of the dog; other medical conditions; cost; other family financial needs; etc.. Angel's family love her and they made the decision that works for them. They did a lot of research and discovered that braces were available for dogs just like for people. Molds were made and sent to California (I believe they said) and voila! One year later and Angel is still enjoying life complete with trips to the off leash park and her loving family.
I only met Angel and her family today. I found her story very inspiring and I thank them for letting me share it. I do so not to invite opinions on their choice of treatment but to applaud them on thinking outside the box. They to want to spread the word that there are options out there, sometimes it just takes some work researching. I hope to meet you again soon Angel.
