Spring Thaw has begun. A very watchful eye on where your dog(s) is during your walk is very important whether you're near thinning ice or just the higher than normal water levels. Sometimes the water level is so high that it doesn't appear fast due to lack of rapids, very misleading. As for playing fetch in the water there is high risk for sticks or water sodden logs hiding beneath the surface that can impale a running/swimming or diving dog. There's so much to share on this topic, please be aware and if you insist on having your dog around unsafe areas consider a dog life jacket.
