The event organizers have requested K9abcs to be their official first aid for dogs on site this year. Of course, if other pets require assistance I will offer what I can as K9ABCs is doing this on a volunteer basis. I requested space to put up my 10'x10' tent and was granted it YaY!! Super stoked to have this. The tent will be available to any animal who is under the weather, injured or simply too stressed by the environment and needing some seclusion. It's use will be monitored by myself via K9ABCs space in the neighbouring booth.
Where will my booth be this year? WAAY in the back LOL. No worries, look for the tent behind the Lure Course. Just don't go home without saying hello. As always, I'll be set up and ready to help anyone with registering for a Dogsafe 101 class in Abbotsford or Chilliwack. Or if you and a group are interested in a private class let me know and we'll discuss it. Private classes can be arranged outside the Fraser Valley as my class is mobile, it just takes some extra planning.
I will also have some first aid equipment and safety lights for sale.
I will have a basket for raffle at the Show's main raffle table, all proceeds will be going to PADS YaY!! PADS (Pacific Assistance Dogs Society)
Oh right, check out the seminar stage as I'll be presenting there again this year as well. I need to check the schedule myself :). Conveniently the Seminar Stage is in the back barn close to K9ABCs booth this year. See you all there.
